Koh Haa (Five Islands)

Remote and secluded. Koh Haa is a cluster of five tiny islands located about 15 kilometers off the coast of Koh Lanta. Koh Haa is mostly visited by dive boats where people explore the stunning underwater cavern known as The Cathedral. Sandwiched between those five islands you will find one pristine stretch of sand, definitely one of the best beaches in Thailand.

Lonely Beach, Koh Chang

It’s the second largest island in the country, so you can expect to find some of the best beaches in Thailand here. Lonely Beach is located 22 kilometers down the west coast of Koh Chang. You will find a laid-back vibe here, with fire spinning shows on the sand for sunset. Read more…

With one of the best snorkeling reefs we’ve ever seen, Ao Nieng on Koh Kradan easily makes it into the best beaches in Thailand. Just 100 meters out from the shore you will find a stunning 6-10m coral shelf teeming with sea life. When you’re finished exploring underwater you can go back and cill at one of these stunning bungalows right on the sand.

Hidden Beach, Koh Adang

If you’re planning a trip to Koh Lipe, then you must also make a trip across the water to Koh Adang. That huge mountains island has some beautiful hidden beaches to explore. Nang Yuan Beach, Koh Nang Yuan

If an entire Island could be just one beach, this would be it. Koh Nang Yuan is located just off the coast of Koh Tao (Turtle Island) in the Gulf of Thailand. This impressive beach bridges the gap between what would otherwise be two mountainous islands in the sea. The only catch, it’s a private beach and you’ll have to pay a small entry fee.

Long Beach, Phi Phi Don

Long Beach is a secluded stretch of the whitest and softest sand that you will find on the Phi Phi islands. The route here from Tonsai Village follows a rocky path and a jungle trail. Snorkel with Black Tip Reefs Sharks just a short swim from the shore or just laze back on the sand and enjoy the view of Phi Phi Leh across the water. Read more…

Railay Beach, Krabi

Imagine being surrounded by tall limestone mountains which seem to just rise up out of the ocean. Monkeys play behind you in the forest, and wooden longtail boats line the shore in front. The only ways to get here are by foot trail or by longtail boat coming from Ao Nang, its all part of what makes this secluded island the paradise it is.

Aoi Nui Bay, Koh Lanta

Ao Nui is a small bay tucked away between the cliffs on Koh Lanta’s southwest coast. It’s almost as remote as it gets on Koh Lanta. There are no resorts here, just one small rustic restaurant pulled together from bits of driftwood. You’ll love the amazing sunsets looking out over the Andaman Sea. Read more…
