Why enquire via me instead of booking direct?
Most travellers don’t struggle to find a motorbike in Vietnam — they struggle to find a reliable one that actually suits their route.
I’ve ridden Vietnam extensively and only work with rental partners I’d personally use myself. That means no junk bikes, no last-minute surprises, and honest advice even if it means you don’t book.

Common questions
Do I need exact dates to submit the form?
No. Rough timing is fine — availability changes fast, so it’s worth checking early.
Is there any obligation to book?
None at all. Many riders use the advice before deciding.
Why not just book the cheapest bike I can find?
You can — but most breakdowns, stress, and wasted days come from cheap or unsuitable bikes. This helps you avoid that.
Ready to check availability?
Good motorbikes in Vietnam are limited — especially during peak months.
If you’re planning a ride, even loosely, it’s worth checking what’s available now.

Lennart: 4 Weeks, Hanoi & Far North
"Hey man, really loved it. I used the bike the entire 4 weeks and already missing it now. The freedom, the roads, seeing the local remote villages of Vietnam. I think it was one of the best ways to explore the country. Also travelled together with two other solo travellers on the motorbike which was really cool. So, thank you for your help in the preparation and planning of this trip, much appreciated"

Till: 4 Weeks, HCMC to Hanoi
The trip was really amazing, we had a great time and would definitely come back to Vietnam! We skipped Danang to Hanoi due to time and rain. Thanks to great communication with the bike rental we managed to get it on a train and continue our trip in the north with a chance to visit Halong Bay. Our top 3: Ho Chin Minh City, Da Lat, Tuy Hoa. We will definitely come back to do the far north and the part we skipped down to Danang. I will take the opportunity to say THANK YOU! for your support and the great communication. I really appreciate your blog and community. It really makes my day knowing that there are such wonderful people in this world.

Peter & Yvonne: 4 Weeks, HCMC to Hanoi
During our 3 months in SEA our month in Vietnam was hands-down our favourite. Being on the back of a bike made us take in so much more, not only because it gave us the freedom to explore but also because we felt so much more immersed than in a car/bus. The Ho Chi Minh Trail and following days in Phong Nha were incredible! We visited the museums and tunnels in HCMC and read about the war, so that made the HCM Trail all the more exciting, and wow, those forests... and then the caves. It was a spiritual experience. I'm sure it would not have been the same had we not been able to drive through the mountains on our own. There were one or two days where we were so 'alone' on that trail, with no signal, that it really only then sunk in that "we really are in the middle of nowhere, in a place where we can't understand the language, there is no cell signal, and if anything happens, no one will know where to find us" - that just made us feel all the more alive. Must say, we were really happy with the bike too, it was in a solid condition, we never had any issues, and got our deposit back as agreed. On our first day we were pulled over by cops and got a fine but it was great to be able to call and ask what to do in the situation. Luckily we were never stopped again after that.
