Koh Ngai offers a limited selection of boutique bungalows and mid-range hotels. Many of these offer stunning beachfront views that are hard to beat elsewhere in Thailand. Almost all hotels on the island are located along Main Beach on the east coast, with the exception of one spot along the south coast.

This article will give you an overview of the 8 best hotels in Koh Ngai. At the end of the post, I will also give you some quick tips on what to do on this amazing island, so be sure to read all the way through!

If you’re after a quick decision… my favourite is Thapwarin Resort with a preference for direct beachfront boutique bungalows, and swimming in the ocean instead of paying extra for an unnecessary pool.

The limited 18 bungalows are designed with natural materials like thatched roofs and wooden interiors, providing a basic yet charming island experience. In-room amenities include air conditioning, minibar fridge and private terraces. The resort has direct beach access along with a limited number of beachfront bungalows. It’s ideal for those who appreciate simplicity and nature.
